Next Mobility Exhibition is a unique opportunity to closely examine vehicles, solutions, policies and technologies aimed at promoting a sustainable mobility system for people.
The event relies on the support of AGENS (Confederal Transport and Services Agency), ANAV (National Association of Road Transporters and Travellers) and ASSTRA (Transport Association). It’s a collaboration that lends authority to the exhibition project and strengthens NME as a benchmark in the public transport sector in Italy. The event will provide a valuable space in which to discuss the current state of the market and to reflect on the prospects for the development of local public transport. Inside the two pavilions that will host the event, visitors will be able to experience first-hand the innovation and prospects of an industry that generates around 12 billion euros and transports 5.5 billion passengers every year. The focus of the Next Mobility Exhibition will also be on the extensive training programme, drafted with the contribution of the Technical and Scientific Committee, with the aim of sharing knowledge and focusing on both short-term and long-term objectives. It will be an opportunity to assess strategies to overcome current critical issues and to examine opportunities related to the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP), which has earmarked significant resources for improving local public transport. The Committee, chaired by Professor of Transport Planning at the Politecnico di Milano, Pierluigi Coppola, is made up of representatives of the three main trade associations in the bus sector (AGENS, ANAV and ASSTRA). In addition, it includes leading academics such as Oliviero Baccelli, Professor at Bocconi University, Fabrizio Zerbini, Scientific Director of the MobiUS Lab at SDA Bocconi, and Marcello Martinez, Professor at the University of Campania.
The Committee also hosts a representative of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport, Angelo Mautone, Director General for Local and Regional Public Transport. In addition, associations and organisations representing the different souls of the transport world are present, including Fabrizia Vigo of ANFIA, Francesco Naso of Motus-e, Cristina Maggi of H2IT, Claudio Claroni of Club Italia, and Claudia Bugno of Futuritaly.
Three days of discussion on innovation and the challenges facing the sector. More than 33,000 operators visited NME and Transpotec Logitec.
